24 hour music making competition for young NZ creatives
Bubble Bop was a 24 hour music making competition I had a part in creating along with two other NZ musicians Tiare Kelly (BENEE, She) and Dylan Clark (BENEE, Low Strung Productions). The competition was aimed at young creatives as a way to inspire music out of the lockdown situation. On our guest judge panel, we had big New Zealand artists such as BENEE, Soaked Oats & Sachi as well as music industry advisors Rodney Fisher (NZ music month), Damien Vaughan (RMNZ), Victoria Kelly (APRA), David Ridler (NZ on air). At the end of the process, we had over 400 applications for the competition.
